One of the exciting additions to this expanded version is the inclusion of two different recordings for several of the Mass parts. The piano/guitar recordings demonstrate the simplicity and beauty of the melody and feature fellow OCP composer Santiago Fernández on the guitar and professional violinist and virtuoso Sonia Lee. The organ/brass versions were recorded in St. Mary's Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception in Portland, Oregon, and offer a fuller, more traditional sound. The use of the brass instruments rounds out the sound beautifully and displays the full potential of this versatile setting.
